George Russell caused a major surprise by finishing quickest in final practice for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The Mercedes driver deposed McLaren's Lando Norris from top spot by just four-thousandths of a second at the Yas Marina Circuit at the end of an incident-strewn session in which Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton crashed, and Kimi Antonelli collided with Red Bull's Yuki Tsunoda in the pit lane.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen was third quickest, 0.180s behind Russell's leading lap of 1:23.334s, with the second McLaren of Oscar Piastri only fifth, 0.259s off the pace.
