Fernando Alonso set the pace in the second practice session at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, after posting an impressive 1:28.827s.
The two-time World Champion was just over two-tenths of a second clear of George Russell, whilst Max Verstappen went third quickest.
Charles Leclerc and last season's Saudi Arabian GP winner Sergio Perez completed the top five, with just one-second having separated the top 14 drivers.
The session was relatively trouble-free, however Lewis Hamilton has been called to the stewards after impeding Logan Sargeant at Turn 10.
