Carlos Sainz set the pace in practice ahead of the United States Grand Prix, held at the Circuit of the Americas.
The Ferrari driver topped the only practice session of the weekend on a 1:33.602, with sprint qualifying being the next on-track F1 action.
Charles Leclerc completed a Ferrari one-two and was just two thousands of a second adrift of his team-mate.
Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri completed the top five, whilst Sergio Perez could only manage P16.
