Charles Leclerc ended the opening day of the Monaco Grand Prix as the fastest driver, courtesy of an impressive 1:11.278s in second practice.
The home hero's time was incredibly 1.2 seconds faster than Max Verstappen's 2023 pole position time at the Circuit de Monaco.
Verstappen was only fourth fastest in FP2 and over half a second behind the Ferrari driver, whilst first practice pacesetter Lewis Hamilton was the closest driver to Leclerc.
Hamilton was just under two tenths of a second slower than the Monegasque, with two-time world champion Fernando Alonso in third. Lando Norris completed the top five.
