Lewis Hamilton topped the Italian Grand Prix second free practice session after Kevin Magnussen's heavy crash triggered a red flag stoppage.
The British driver set a time of 1:20.738, just pipping Lando Norris, by three-thousandths of a second whilst Carlos Sainz rounded out the top three.
During the session, both Mercedes drivers radioed into the team to complain the seats in their respective W15s were getting increasingly hot, with high temperatures expected all weekend at Monza potentially playing some role in the overheating.
Meanwhile, Williams debutant Franco Colapinto got within two-tenths of a second from Alexander Albon during his qualifying simulation runs.
As for Magnussen, the Dane lost the back end of his Haas heading into Lesmo 2, ultimately spinning round and heading front-first into the barriers.
