Carlos Sainz has ended the opening practice session from the Hungaroring on top of the timesheets, ahead of championship leader Max Verstappen.
The Spaniard held a gap of almost three-tenths of a second to Verstappen, with Charles Leclerc and George Russell rounding out the top four.
The session was a strong one for Zhou Guanyu who clocked the fifth fastest time of the outing.
