First practice ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix was a wild affair which was topped by Lando Norris, with the session having started in wet conditions.
By the end of the session, the circuit had dried enough for slick tyres, with Norris' 1:12.322 having been enough to top FP1 in Zandvoort.
Home hero Max Verstappen was two tenths adrift of Norris in second, whilst seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton completed the top three.
Carlos Sainz was fourth but on the medium compound, compared to the top three who all set their fastest laps on the soft tyre. George Russell rounded off the top five.
