A remarkable 66-thousandths of a second separated the top three F1 drivers at the end of the second free practice session for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
After complaining about a 'bent' Ferrari early in the session following repairs made to his SF-24 after a crash in FP1, Charles Leclerc returned to the Baku Street Circuit late on to post the fastest time.
Two-time race winner at this circuit, Sergio Perez, finished just 0.006s behind Leclerc in his Red Bull, with Lewis Hamilton marginally behind his two rivals in his Mercedes.
Three-time F1 champion Max Verstappen was only the sixth quickest, just over half-a-second adrift, with F1 title rival Lando Norris a lowly 17th, albeit that time set on medium-compound Pirelli rubber as the Briton did not post a representative soft-tyre run.
