Lando Norris secured pole position for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the final round of the 202 F1 season, setting a lap time just over two-tenths clear of McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri.
Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz completed the top three at the Yas Marina Circuit, with Nico Hulkenberg and Max Verstappen going fourth and fifth-fastest, respectively.
Pierre Gasly, George Russell, Fernando Alonso, Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez rounded out the top 10.
After being eliminated in Q2, Charles Leclerc will start at the back of the pack once his 10-place grid penalty has been applied.
Lewis Hamilton, in his final race for Mercedes, qualified P18, but will start P16 on account of Alexander Albon's five-place grid penalty.
