Ollie Bearman scooped a first Formula 2 win of the season for Prema in the Austrian Grand Prix sprint race.

The heavily-tipped 2025 F1 driver started second on the grid, but out-dragged pole-sitter Kush Maini to Turn 1 - and held the lead thereafter.

Bearman's closest challenger was Pepe Marti, who hoovered around the DRS activation, but could not quite get past or close enough to challenge.

Championship leader Paul Aron banked third place ahead of Gabriel Bortoleto after a fine late duel, with Maini dropping to seventh and Joshua Durksen rounding out the points positions.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli took 15th in the sister Prema, having started well down the order and not making any progress, finishing 0.099s behind Enzo Fittipaldi.
