The Indianapolis 500 was thrown under a full course caution on the opening lap following an incident between multiple drivers.
Rookie Tom Blomqvist lost control of his car through the opening corner and collected ex-Formula 1 driver - and the 2022 Indy 500 winner - Marcus Ericsson.
In an attempt to avoid the collision, Callum Ilott and Pietro Fittipaldi also made contact, with the latter spinning out.
Fittipaldi originally appeared to be in a position to continue as he scrubbed off speed while spinning before his car backed up and made contact with the wall.
The field of 33 has been reduced to 30 in the opening lap as a result.
