A big crash for Zhou Guanyu at Turn 7 triggered red flags in Saudi Arabian Grand Prix third practice. The Stake driver lost control of his car through the high-speed twisty section, spinning off through the right-hander, with the rear-wing making contact first before he went broadside into the TecPro barrier. The Chinese racer was able to climb from his car unaided but was greeted by the medical car. Max Verstappen was fastest at the time from Charles Leclerc and Fernando Alonso with Zhou in 17th. Oliver Bearman, deputising for appendicitis-stricken Carlos Sainz was 14th at the time of the accident.
