Yuki Tsunoda has walked away from a terrifying crash during qualifying at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
Tsunoda lost control of his car through the Villeneuve chicane and impacted the barrier, which flipped the RB21 upside down.
The car then planted itself back in the gravel the right way up, albeit after sustaining significant damage.
Tsunoda managed to get out of the car unaided but was unsurprisingly taken into the medical centre for assessment.
The crash was so severe that repairs had to be carried out to the light panel and the tyre conveyor belt, which took some force in the impact.
It marks another difficult moment for the Japanese driver at the start of his F1 career with Red Bull following his call-up earlier in the season.
The 24-year-old has scored six championship points across the opening four events with the team.
