Mercedes' team boss Toto Wolff reckons Red Bull hold all the strategic cards for Sunday's race at Imola. While Lewis Hamilton starts the race from pole position for the World Champion team, Red Bull line up in second and third place and on different tyre strategies. Hamilton starts on the medium, with second placed Sergio Perez on the soft compound, and Verstappen in third also on the mediums. This split strategy makes it harder for Mercedes to counter both cars, with Valtteri Bottas mired in eighth place. When asked by Sky Deutschland whether Red Bull are in the box seats for Sunday's Grand Prix, Wolff said, "I think so. "If you judge by the data, the soft is the much better tyre right from the start. "Perez also treats the tyres well, but he will have to change early. But it is always bad to have a car with two competitors - especially when they are on different strategies. That makes it more difficult for tomorrow."
