Lewis Hamilton's future past this season remains unclear with the Mercedes driver having signed a one-year contract back in February, however Toto Wolff doesn't believe the Brit will drive for another F1 team before calling it quits.
There was plenty of conversation surrounding the seven time world champion following the 2020 campaign, with both Lewis and Mercedes stating a new contract was a simple formality. However talks dragged on and a new deal was only finalised a month before the start of the season.
Nevertheless, Wolff told DPA that the relationship between Hamilton and Mercedes remains good and that he doesn't expect to see the Brit with another team.
"I think Mercedes will be the last team for Hamilton," said Wolff. "There is no better environment for him and we want nothing more than him to continue with us.
"The energy between us is good and we have already had so many successes together that at the moment everything indicates that we can continue to race together in the future,"
