Toto Wolff has dropped a big hint that Andrea Kimi Antonelli will be promoted to Formula 1 as Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes successor. 

With the seven-time champion set to depart for Ferrari, Wolff has been on the hunt for a successor, and has been keen to land Max Verstappen from Red Bull.

RB announce first F1 driver for 2025

RB has confirmed it has activated an option in its contract with Yuki Tsunoda to extend the Japanese driver's deal until the end of 2025 Formula 1 season. 

Tsunoda has impressed during the opening eight rounds of the 2024 F1 campaign, resulting in RB opting to take up its option to keep him in place for another year.

2024 F1 Canadian Grand Prix - Qualifying results

George Russell secured pole position for the 2024 F1 Canadian Grand Prix after setting a 1:12.000. 

He will be joined on the front row by Max Verstappen, who set the exactly the same time as the Mercedes driver but crucially after Russell had set it.

Stewards deliver verdict after Verstappen summoned over rule breach

Max Verstappen has avoided a grid penalty for the Canadian Grand Prix after being investigated post-qualifying by the stewards in Montreal.

Verstappen was summoned after allegedly breaching Article 34.8 of the sporting regulations and the race director's event notes.

Leclerc baffled by early Canadian GP qualifying exit for Ferrari

Charles Leclerc has admitted he is in the dark over what caused Ferrari's lack of pace during qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix.

Having triumphed around the Monaco streets two weeks ago, the Italian squad's form flipped to result in a nightmare qualifying session in Montreal.

Perez bemoans 'total disaster' after latest qualifying howler

Sergio Perez has detailed the key reason behind his lack of pace during qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix.

The Mexican driver suffered a second consecutive Q1 exit and is set to start the Montreal race from 16th on the grid.
