Toto Wolff is "fed up" with making excuses for Mercedes not performing in qualifying after a poor showing in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
After setting the pace in FP1 and FP3, held in day-time conditions, George Russell could only manage fourth on the grid, while an off-the-pace Lewis Hamilton could only manage 11th.
The team has committed to replacing the concept of its car for next season with Wolff running out of ways to defend the flawed W14 after another wild performance swing.

Wolff's relief
"It just didn't come together," Wolff told Sky Sports F1.
"That was what was in the car, but expectations were higher, and I am fed up with having explanations of why it didn't go well.
"We were good in the hot, not in the cold, and in previous races, it was the other way around.
"I am happy that this was the last qualifying of the season and we're going to come back next year with a new car."
