Williams has confirmed that Logan Sargeant will remain with the team for a second Formula 1 season.
Sargeant joined Williams for his rookie campaign this year after a season in Formula 2 but endured a challenging campaign.
Having shown flashes of speed in the early stages of the season, a handful of accidents after the summer break placed doubt on Sargeant's position in the team.
However, the Grove-based squad has opted to re-sign the American driver for another season, waiting until after the end of his rookie campaign to make the decision.
“I am thrilled to be continuing with Williams Racing for the 2024 season,” Sargeant said.
“It has been an incredible journey with the team so far, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue developing as a driver within such a talented and dedicated group.
‘We have exciting plans for the future, and I can't wait to contribute to the team's success in the coming year."
