Williams announce complete 2025 driver academy line-up

Williams has revealed the eight drivers who will form its junior programme for the 2025 motorsport season.

Williams has confirmed its full driver academy roster ahead for the 2025 motorsport season, from F2 down through to karting. The F1 team will support eight drivers in total, which includes continuing its relationship with British F2 driver Luke Browning and F1 Academy's Lia Block, racing for Hitech and ART respectively. Alessandro Giusti is stepping up to FIA F3 this year, where he will compete for Dutch team MP Motorsport and Oleksandr Bondarev will race in Italian and UAE F4 with PREMA. The team also has four prospects in karting: Sara Matsui, Dean Hoogendoorn, Will Green and Lucas Palacio. "We’re excited to confirm our Williams Racing Driver Academy drivers for this year, and proud to showcase the amount of talent and promise in each of our drivers," said sporting director Sven Smeets. "The Academy is central to our commitment to shaping the future of our sport, supporting them both on and off the track. "We’re looking forward to following all the drivers’ progress throughout this 2025 season." Zak O'Sullivan departed the junior programme at the end of 2024, as he heads to Japan for his debut season in Super Formula. Meanwhile, Franco Colapinto has joined Alpine after his brief F1 spell in place of ex-academy graduate Logan Sargeant, who was fired with nine rounds of last year's campaign to run.
