Red Bull's Max Verstappen responded in fine style by defeating Leclerc in Jeddah and, had it not been for a fuel system issue late in the Bahrain race, the two drivers would be near-identical on points. With Verstappen now playing catch-up against Leclerc, it's going to be a fascinating battle between the two generational talents as they vie for supremacy. Meanwhile, seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton will be aiming to eventually join in the fight as Mercedes work to address their current car issues.
