With two races of the 2022 season now in the rear-view mirror, two teams and drivers have distinguished themselves during intense battles in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Charles Leclerc has led the charge for Ferrari, and won the season-opener in Sakhir. Red Bull's Max Verstappen responded in fine style by defeating Leclerc in Jeddah and, had it not been for a fuel system issue late in the Bahrain race, the two drivers would be near-identical on points.
With Verstappen now playing catch-up against Leclerc, it's going to be a fascinating battle between the two generational talents as they vie for supremacy.
Meanwhile, seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton will be aiming to eventually join in the fight as Mercedes work to address their current car issues.
