Mercedes boss Toto Wolff spent most of 2024 trying to woo Verstappen to replace Ferrari-bound Lewis Hamilton, before settling on Kimi Antonelli, with the Austrian now indicating that Verstappen is "not on the radar." Another potential suitor awaits in Aston Martin, with the team forced to deny rumours that it was prepared to launch a one-billion-dollar bid to lure him to Silverstone.
