There is a potential for rain to disrupt this weekend's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix as Formula 1 returns to Imola.
The race was cancelled last year due to heavy flooding in the region with F1 deeming that taking away emergency resources to hold the race was not appropriate.
But Imola is to return for round seven of the 2024 season, with Max Verstappen having won the last race in 2022, but the rain that affected Imola that day could be back this time around.
Current forecasts from RacingNews365's weather partner WeerOnline indicate that both Friday and Saturday will be dry, with temperatures around the 25 degree mark.
However, there is a chance for rain on Sunday, with showers passing through, with an eastern wind that translates to a head-wind along the main straight and into the braking zone for Tamburello.
