Ahead of next weekend's São Paulo E-Prix, Pascal Wehrlein has revealed that energy management will be "super important", and has predicted a very "different" race compared to the earlier rounds.

In both Mexico City and Diriyah, energy management was not a concern, partly due to the FIA not calculating the race distance correctly. It resulted in three races which were all practically flat out, making overtaking virtually impossible.

This style of racing did play into Wehrlein's favour in Mexico City, where he converted pole position into victory.

Despite this, he has warned that the peloton-style of racing that Formula E became accustomed to last season will likely return next Saturday.

"São Paulo will be quite a different race with a lot more energy saving than in the last three races," said Wehrlein.

"So, being efficient will be super important."

Brazil a chance to 'bounce back'

Whilst Wehrlein has made a positive start to Season 10 and sits second in the Drivers' Championship, on the other side of the factory Porsche garage, it's been a woeful opening three rounds for Antonio Felix da Costa.

Da Costa demonstrated excellent pace in pre-season testing but has failed to exploit the most from Porsche's Gen3 package, which is one of the strongest on the grid.

Ahead of São Paulo, da Costa is point-less but is hopeful that he can replicate his fourth place finish in Brazil last season.

"After a tough start to the season for myself, São Paulo is a great opportunity to bounce back and to put ourselves in contention on a track we did well on last season," said da Costa.
