As part of a revised philosophy under its new name, the team that was AlphaTauri will take as many transferable components - previously non-listed parts - from the senior Red Bull team as the regulations permit.

This, and the fact that Red Bull owns both teams, has drawn criticism in some quarters, especially from McLaren's Zak Brown, with the full extent of the partnership revealed for the first time.

VCARB-01 takes its front pull-rod and rear push-rod suspension from Red Bull, with this design becoming a common trend among the teams to launch their new machines thus far.

The power steering, brake system, gearbox and exhaust are also from Red Bull Technologies, with the team designing the monocoque and brake ducts itself as per the regulations.

The car to be driven by Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda will be powered by the Red Bull Powertrains-Honda unit once again.
