Sebastian Vettel put in a strong performance at the 2022 Race of Champions event to reach the final, but his celebrations didn't go quite to plan.
The German went head-to-head with rally driver Sebastien Loeb in the final of Sunday's competition, and had to settle for the runner-up spot after Loeb beat him in the exciting final heats.
There were no hard feelings as the two finalists prepared to spray the champagne to toast their success afterwards. Unfortunately, though, Vettel seemed to be stuck with a bottle that would not open.
After several attempts to get the cork out, the F1 driver eventually gave up and instead opted for the novel solution of throwing snow instead of champagne. Loeb also let Vettel borrow his bottle so that he could still spray the bubbly.
