Sebastian Vettel has admitted his demonstration run in the RB7 "felt like I should have been back on the grid for the start of a race" as he returned to a Red Bull cockpit. Vettel was one of a number of drivers, including Yuki Tsunoda and David Coulthard present at a Red Bull event at the Nurburgring, where he drove his 2011 title-winning machine that he guided to 11 wins and his second crown. The four-time champion is not seeking a return to racing after his retirement at the end of 2022, but admitted some of the old feelings came back when strapped into the V8 car. "It felt like I should have been back on the grid for the start of a race, so that was very nice," Vettel said. "Obviously the sound is very different in these cars. "Part of the crew was there when we had the run and the mega year. "The seat still fits, the pedals are right, and all of that together brings back a lot of memories."
