Vettel makes F1 return at the Nordschleife in 2011 title-winner

Sebastian Vettel took to the famous Nordschleife track in his 2011 title-winning Red Bull car

Sebastian Vettel returned to the wheel of a Formula 1 car at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, reuniting with his title-winning challenger from 2011. The RB7 car won 12 races 12 years ago, 11 of which came at the hands of Vettel. It was also on pole position at all but one race during the campaign, in which Red Bull secured its second Drivers' and Constructors' Championship. Vettel retired from F1 at the end of last year's campaign but received the chance to experience the car again at the famous Nordschleife circuit. AlphaTauri's Yuki Tsunoda is also taking part in activities at the track, as is ex-F1 driver David Coulthard, who was a late call-up to replace the injured Daniel Ricciardo.
