Vettel gets seat fit on first visit to Aston Martin Factory

Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel made his first visit to his new employers’ headquarters at Silverstone this week as he entered the Aston Martin factory to meet his team mates for the first time.

The driver met with the team’s technical director Andrew Green as well as had his initial seat fitting session during the visit at the beginning of this week, according to RTL.de . The outlet says that Vettel spent Tuesday in the team’s simulator as he looks to get to grips with his new car and team after spending five years with Ferrari before he was abruptly released before the start of the 2020 season. The German will line up alongside Canadian Lance Stroll next year as the Aston Martin brand returns to F1 following a 50-year absence from the sport after team owner Lawrence Stroll purchased a controlling stake in the British marque’s parent company last year.
