Max Verstappen has added to the mystery surrounding the Red Bull RB16B, stating the car doesn't look much different to the car the team's put out the last few years.
Both Versteppen and new teammate Sergio Perez took the team's new car out for a spin around Silverstone on Wednesday, but no images or videos of the RB16B were released to public. Instead, the RB15 was front and centre.
As a result there are questions as to what Red Bull have to hide in terms of developments on their new car, and Verstappen didn't shed any new light on the matter.
"It's the same," Verstappen told members of the media including RacingNews365.com. "It's the same livery as five years ago. It's a bit of a carryover from last year for all teams. I don't think it's going to be a completely different car anyway.
"As long as its fast, that's most important to me, even if it is pink, purple or any other colour. The shape doesn't matter, even if it has the weirdest shape on the car possible. If it's fast, I'm happy with that."
