Max Verstappen has swapped his F1 car for a Ferrari 296 GT3, during a fun day at the former home of the Portuguese Grand Prix.
The four-time F1 champion joined DTM driver Thierry Vermeulen and Team Redline sim driver Chris Lulham at Portimao, where Vermeulen's Emil Frey Racing DTM car was driven.
It is not Verstappen's first time testing as DTM car, having previously stunned a DTM engineer following a test in the same car at Mugello – a one-off F1 race was held there in 2020.
Verstappen shared some pictures on social media from his time in Algarve, with the caption: "Recharge on."
His latest DTM experience comes just a fortnight on from the conclusion of the 2024 F1 season, which him secure a fourth consecutive drivers' title.
He recently collected his trophy in Rwanda at the FIA prize-giving gala, where he also undertook his community service for swearing earlier this year in Singapore during an FIA press conference.
