Max Verstappen left a DTM engineer in disbelief after again underlining his all-around talent as a driver that features as part of a documentary on the Red Bull driver.

In the Viaplay programme, entitled 'Verstappen - Off The Beaten Track', the 26-year-old Dutch driver tests Thierry Vermeulen's Ferrari 296 DTM car at Mugello, the Italian circuit which hosted a one-off F1 race in 2020.

Red Bull technical chief explains pace decline

Red Bull technical director Pierre Waché has offered an insight into the squad's shortcomings during the ongoing F1 season.

The reigning world champions commenced the season in strong fashion, winning five out of the opening seven races.

Aston Martin is enduring a difficult campaign which has seen the Silverstone-based outfit score just 73 points, a remarkable 123 shy of last season's total at the summer break stage, and with two races more this campaign.

Williams follow Red Bull and Mercedes with 'large departure'

Williams team principal James Vowles has detailed a “large departure” from the squad's past focus in a bid to improve its performance going forward.

Vowles took over at the helm of Williams prior to the start of last year's campaign following his exit from Mercedes.

Former F1 team boss Eddie Jordan has raised a question mark over the Audi project ahead of the German manufacturer's arrival on the grid in 2026.
