Max Verstappen has been spotted testing an Aston Martin GT3 at the former home of the French Grand Prix – Circuit Paul Ricard. A social media fan account of the four-time world champion posted an array of videos of Verstappen testing the GT3 car, ahead of pre-season testing in Bahrain next week. The Dutchman's jet is also currently in France, with him continuing to prepare for his title defence in pursuit of a fifth consecutive crown. Verstappen was recently booed at the F1 75 launch event, with his father, Jos, having since stated that the 27-year-old will not attend if a similar event is held again in England. It is not the first time Verstappen has been seen testing an Aston Martin GT3 car, with him having also tested at various other circuits in recent years. His name has been linked several times with Aston Martin over the winter break after a deal worth $1 billion was reported, but categorically denied by the Silverstone-based team.
