Max Verstappen says the situation with Franco Colapinto is "complicated", in the midst of persistent speculation linking the Argentine with Red Bull.

The 21-year-old will see out the F1 season at Williams, where he has assumed Logan Sargeant's seat, but with Carlos Sainz already contracted for 2025, he will have to continue his career elsewhere.

F1 grand prix confirms significant date change

The Canadian Grand Prix has confirmed it has agreed terms to change the date of its race from 2026 onward.

The move has been signed in a further bid to make the F1 calendar more sustainable going forward by limiting the travel constraints.

F1 legend points to Verstappen 'mistakes'

1978 F1 world champion Mario Andretti has stated the added pressure on Max Verstappen's shoulders this year has resulted in “mistakes”.

Verstappen enjoyed a relatively unchallenged route to his second and third F1 titles in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

Why the Las Vegas GP is held on Saturday

In addition to the on-track sessions over the course of an F1 weekend, the 20 drivers have to deal with a variety of other obligations, such as interviews, promotional activities and, of course, interaction with the fans.

For the sake of efficiency, it is therefore good that the drivers at least know what awaits them in terms of on-track action.

Oscar Piastri believes Gabriel Bortoleto deserves his seat in F1, leaning on his own experience of missing out on a drive after winning the FIA F3 and F2 titles back-to-back.

The Australian won the F3 championship with PREMA as a rookie in 2020, before repeating the same achievement in F2 the following year.
