Max Verstappen has been hit with a five-place grid penalty for the São Paulo Grand Prix after a change of engine.
It is Verstappen's second PU penalty of the season after Red Bull fitted a new internal combustion engine to the three-time F1 champion's RB20 ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix.
On that occasion, after qualifying on pole position, Verstappen was only able to rescue fourth place from the race at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
For this weekend's grand prix at Interlagos, where Verstappen has twice taken the chequered flag, Red Bull has again changed the internal combustion engine.
As this is the second change of the same component, it means Verstappen only serves a five-place penalty, as opposed to 10 places at Spa as it was the first time the ICE had been changed beyond the normal allocation.
