Red Bulls' Max Verstappen has crashed out of the lead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, after his left rear tyre failed within sight of the chequered flag. Verstappen was leading by five seconds with five laps to go when his left rear tyre failed going down the main straight. Hitting the barrier hard, the Dutch driver was uninjured in the crash. The crash was the second such tyre failure of the day following an earlier failure for Aston Martin's Lance Stroll, which was also the left rear tyre. The race has been red flagged three laps from the end, as the debris is cleaned up. Sergio Perez leads the race in the other Red Bull, ahead of Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton.
