Weather conditions in Shanghai have been clear and warm throughout the Chinese Grand Prix weekend, posing little threat of rain for the drivers up to now.
Oscar Piastri will start the race from pole position, the first time he will do so in his F1 career.
As he goes in search of his third grand prix victory, the Australian will not have to worry about rain hitting the circuit during the race.
As has been the case throughout the weekend in China, the weather continues to be sunny as teams prepare for the grand prix.
Temperatures are sitting at 27 to 28 degrees for the race - a vast difference to the Australian race last week which saw temperatures drop amid heavy rainfall.
There are showers approaching the Shanghai International Circuit from the west, but they will take some time to arrive.
By the time they do reach the track, the race is very likely to be over.
During the race, the weather will be consistent with sun and some cumulus clouds resting over the circuit, with little wind to disturb the drivers.
The temperature may drop slightly towards the end of the race, but nothing to dramatically shift the face of the grand prix.
