Tributes flood in for legendary F1 team boss Williams

Several key figures in F1 have paid tribute to Sir Frank Williams following news of his death.

Tributes have been pouring in for Sir Frank Williams following the announcement of his death at the age of 79. It was confirmed today that the legendary Founder of the Williams F1 team had passed away peacefully surrounded by his family , and the news has been met with sadness by many in the sport. A number of current drivers on the grid have paid tribute, including Williams' George Russell and Nicholas Latifi, as well as several teams and other figures in the paddock.
