Logan Sargeant is set to become the latest driver to carry the Stars and Stripes in Formula 1 as Williams launch the FW45 machine he will pilot in 2023.
After graduating from Formula 2, Florida native Sargeant becomes the 58th American to race in a Grand Prix – and yes, that figure does include those in the oddities that were the 1950-1960 Indianapolis 500s which originally put the 'World' in 'World Championship'.
Sargeant is set to partner Alexander Albon as he becomes the first full-time American driver since 2007, almost a generation ago.
