Lance Stroll has been ruled out of preseason testing duties following an injury sustained during training for the new season. The Aston Martin team confirmed that the Canadian was involved in a 'minor accident' whilst cycling in Spain as part of his preseason fitness programme. They also currently anticipate a "quick recovery", adding that they will issue another update ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix. It is expected that new recruit Fernando Alonso will complete most of the three days of preseason testing in Bahrain, but a schedule is yet to be confirmed by the team. "I've had an unfortunate accident whilst training on my bike in preparation for the season," Stroll commented. "I am determined to get back in the car and I am excited about the season ahead with the team. I am motivated to bounce back from this setback as quickly as possible."
