Lance Stroll has avoided any further action over his alleged yellow flag breach in Las Vegas Grand Prix qualifying.

He was called before stewards to answer the charge of failing to slow for a yellow flag towards the end of Q1.

However, the stewards found via examination of the telemetry and comparison team-mate Fernando Alonso proved Stroll lifted off the throttle earlier, and got back on it later through the zone.

His time in the sector was also higher than previous laps, despite the track improvement happening throughout the session.

Stroll was hit with a five-place penalty however for an earlier breach in FP3.
