No further action will be taken against Nyck de Vries for his unsafe Formula 1 release against Lando Norris in Bahrain Grand Prix practice.

During FP2 in Sakhir, rookie De Vries was released into the path of Norris's McLaren who was trundling down the pitlane to start an out-lap.

Both drivers were called to see the stewards over the incident, which can carry a penalty in Qualifying or the race.

However, the stewards elected to take no further action over the incident having heard from both drivers, team representatives and having viewed video evidence.
