It became clear earlier this year that Stake is paying a large amount of money to the Swiss-based Sauber Group.
The figure amounts to some $50 million a year, making Stake the team's namesake for the next two seasons. On January 1, the announcement was voiced by none other than world-renowned rapper Drake.
The Canadian looks set to visit a number of Grands Prix this year and may also give an appearance at the team's launch in London.
The launch in question, which RacingNews365 will attend, promises to be a real spectacle.
Just like in the past when F1 teams packed out big with physical launches, Stake seems to be doing the same now. No expense seems to be spared when it comes to the partnership Stake has established with the team.
Thus, even the launch looks set to be a multi-million dollar party, which will bring the team a lot of attention.

It's good news, then, for the old Sauber team, who will spend 2024 and 2025 building up toward the ambitious Audi project that will take off in 2026.
During this interim period, the team can gratefully take advantage of the large amount of money Stake is investing in the team, both on a sporting and marketing level. The team's commercial department has therefore made an impression in the paddock.
Alfa Romeo has been the team's name carrier in recent years - it was a brilliant marketing ploy that gave Alfa Romeo, in particular, a lot of attention, but the Italian car brand made the team relatively little money compared to the current Stake deal.
Stake stepped in with the team in 2023 and was so pleased with the partnership that they chose to increase the sponsorship amount substantially to become the team's sole name carrier.
Given the teasers the team has released on the build up to the launch, the colour scheme of the car also appears to be changing.
