Flooding in the support paddock at the Sochi Autodrom has caused concerns ahead of the Russian Grand Prix, with heavy rain forecast for the weekend.
With the circuit drainage unable to clear standing water in the Formula 2 and Formula 3 paddock, there's more concern about the weekend possibly being another wash-out.
Looking ahead to this weekend's weather, thanks to our friends at WeerOnline.nl, Friday is expected to be quite wet with rain likely for first practice. This may dry out during the day to allow for clear conditions for second practice, with a maximum temperature of 18 degrees celsius forecast.
On Friday night, heavy rain is forecast with this continuing on into Saturday's qualifying session.
The forecast for Sunday isn't clear, with a high chance of rain showers. But it could also be completely dry, with the sun showing, and scattered showers wreaking havoc for the team's strategists. Expected temperatures for Sunday afternoon are around 20 degrees celsius.
