Mick Schumacher is one of the most popular F1 drivers currently without a seat - as has been the case since Haas dropped him at the end of 2022.
The German driver ultimately failed to make his mark in two seasons with the American team and was let go, with Nico Hulkenberg jettisoned in to replace him alongside Kevin Magnussen.
He has spent the 18 months or so as a reserve driver for Mercedes, as well as joining Alpine's WEC programme.
Now, with Esteban Ocon moving on from 'Team Enstone' at the end of the year, attention is turning to who might replace him.
In a recent poll conducted by RacingNews365 with over 3,000 respondents, over a third of voters (35.51%) felt that current Alpine reserve and academy member Jack Doohan was the driver who should take Ocon's soon-to-be-vacated seat.
However, Schumacher was just behind, with 32.61% of all votes cast. Collectively, the pair amassed 68.12% vote share - over 2000 being in favour of one of the two.
That, therefore, begs a follow-on question: Should Schumacher get a second shot in F1?
