A second major storm of Formula E's race week in Tokyo has forced third practice on Sunday afternoon to be cancelled.
Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected to cause disruption across the second race day, following a largely dry opening race on Saturday night.
Unfortunately, blue skies on Sunday morning were quickly replaced by dark clouds and a powerful thunderstorm, resulting in the evacuation of the Formula E paddock at roughly 13:00 local time (5am BST).
It marks the second evacuation of the paddock during the event, with the first having taken place on Thursday evening following the first thunderstorm to impact the event.
Third practice was due to get under way at 13:30 local time but was, for obvious reasons, unable to go ahead. Qualifying is currently scheduled for 15:40 local time, before the second race of the weekend at 20:00.
Dan Ticktum was victorious in the opening race, producing a last-lap overtake on Jake Dennis to claim victory. The race was largely dry, but rain started to fall towards the end before a heavy shower during the celebrations.
