Schumacher's small tribute to father Michael at Goodwood

Mick Schumacher is set to drive his father's 2011 Mercedes this weekend.

Mick Schumacher is to pay tribute to father Michael by wearing his iconic Formula 1 helmet during the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend. Seven-time champion Michael raced for Mercedes between 2010 and 2012 during his three-year comeback to F1, with the W02 of 2011 being the car in which he led his final laps in Grand Prix racing at the Japanese Grand Prix. Mick is to exhibit that machine at the Festival of Speed this weekend - and will be sporting Michael's helmet and overalls from 12 years ago. He is set for runs on both Saturday and Sunday up the hill, with a final spin taking place in the 2021 W12 that Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas claimed the Constructors' Championship with.
