Haas have left themselves with plenty of work to do if they are to ready Mick Schumacher's car for qualifying at the Spanish Grand Prix.
Only 15 minutes of the final practice session had been completed when a rear-right brake fire forced Schumacher to abandon his car outside the garage.
The team were able to put out the fire, which caused plenty of rear-end damage, and wheel the car back into the garage for work.
Haas pushing to get Schumacher's car ready for qualifying
Haas are confident that they will be able to complete the work on Schumacher's car before qualifying, which begins at 16:00 local time (15:00 BST).
The team have also taken the decision to make a precautionary gearbox change between sessions, only adding to their workload.
Schumacher's problems come with the pressure building on him to take the fight to teammate Kevin Magnussen, who leads the Haas internal battle by 15 points.
