Sainz to take grid penalty for Brazilian Grand Prix

The Ferrari driver will receive a five-place grid penalty for taking a new internal combustion engine.

Carlos Sainz will receive a five-place grid penalty for taking a new internal combustion engine. As it is his sixth of the season out of the three allowed, he will take the grid penalty for the race on Sunday. With it being a Sprint race weekend, the position that he qualifies in today for the start on Saturday will be unaffected and will be applied for Sunday's Grand Prix. Ferrari has also fitted a new exhaust system to his F1-75 as part of the changes.
