Carlos Sainz's Formula 1 filming day had a special Ferrari guest join him as the Le Mans-winning 499P hit the Fiorano track. Sainz was busy testing the SF-23 machine ahead of this weekend's Austrian Grand Prix, where the team is expected to bring a new floor to try and improve performance. The Spaniard was running as part of one of the two allotted filming days permitted to each team, with only 100km of running allowed, which equates to about 33 laps of the 2.997km circuit. But the upcoming double-header of Austria and Great Britain is not the only race on the horizon for the Scuderia - with the World Endurance Championship set to roll into Monza next weekend. Joining Sainz was Alessandro Pier Guidi in the #51 499P Hypercar. Pier Guidi was onboard the #50 machine during the recent victory at Le Mans alongside James Calado and F1 reserve Antonio Giovinazzi, as the Italian completed a shakedown ahead of the third Monza WEC round since it was reintroduced in 2021.
