Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has indicated Carlos Sainz has an escape clause in his new Williams contract that would allow him to leave based on a 'big-team' offer.

Sainz's future was thrown into turmoil at the start of February when Ferrari stunned all in F1 by announcing Lewis Hamilton would be joining the Scuderia next season, leaving the Spanish driver on the sidelines.

Red Bull announce Lawson F1 future update with loan move denied

Red Bull has confirmed it will finally lay to rest speculation surrounding the future of Liam Lawson in September.

Lawson burst onto the scene almost a year ago when deputising for Daniel Ricciardo at AlphaTauri after the Australian suffered multiple breaks of a bone in his left hand following a crash in practice for the Dutch Grand Prix.

Sports giants in head-to-head fight to land Audi deal

Adidas and Puma are understood to be in a head-to-head fight to land a major sponsorship deal with future F1 incumbent Audi.

The German manufacturing giant will make its F1 debut in 2026 after being attracted to the sport by new power unit regulations.

Brown reignites Horner feud with 'integrity' swipe

McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown has called out Christian Horner for a lack of "transparency" and "hitting the integrity" of F1.

The 52-year-old's words relate to the Red Bull team principal's handling on its 2021 cost cap breach, which came to light during the 2022 F1 season.

Ricciardo influence revealed in Tsunoda anger management

Yuki Tsunoda has revealed Red Bull set him a target to "calm down" over team radio last season, resulting in Daniel Ricciardo playing a leading role.

In an exclusive interview with RacingNews365, the Japanese driver says his improved "emotional control" has led to more "consistent" communication with his team during races.

Verstappen explains 'team-mate killer' preference

Max Verstappen has explained the behaviour he enjoys from his Red Bull, highlighting a preference for a responsive front end, a feature his team-mates have found difficult to live with.

It is often remarked that the Dutchman seeks extreme characteristics from his car and that the nervous nose Red Bull dutifully provides him with is part of what makes him a 'team-mate killer'.
